Thirianna
Thirianna is a Seer of Craftworld Alaitoc.[1a]
Biography
As a Dire Avenger Aspect Warrior, Thirianna executed a Human woman and her children during a mission after their commanding Farseer ordered the world tainted by Chaos.[1a] Shaken by the experience, she left the Path of the Warrior and walked the Path of the Poet, where she reunited with her childhood friends Korlandril and Aradryan. After Aradryan criticized Korlandril's new sculpture and both Korlandril Aradryan makes unrequited romantic overtures to Thirianna, their friendship fractured. Korlandril entered the Striking Scorpions, Aradryan became an Eldar Ranger on the Path of the Outcast, and Thirianna entered the Path of the Seer.[1b]
Training under the Farseer Kelamith, Thirianna learned to access Alaitoc's Infinity Circuit and divine the skein of fate.[1c] Aradryan eventually returned to Alaitoc, bringing word of an Ork attack on the Exodite World pf Eileniliesh. Alaitoc sent aid, and Thirianna reunited with both Aradryan and Korlandril. Troubled by the paths they have taken, she nonetheless was able to use her abilities to guide the Eldar forces in battle and emerge victorious over the Orks.[1d]
Frustrated by her limitations, Thirianna attempted to explore the Webway alone despite warnings to not attempt it by her instructors. Coming across a Dark Eldar pirate outpost, her fear attracted Daemons of Slaanesh. She was rescued at the last moment by Kelamith. Afterwards, Thirianna was told to progress further she must have a personal rune fashioned by her estranged father, the Bonesinger Yrlandriar. After looking into the past and understanding her father's grief at the loss of their mother, she was able to reconcile with her father and he agreed to craft her rune.[1e]
While practicing with her increased powers, Thirianna witnessed a horrifying vision where Alaitoc was destroyed by an Imperial attack. She brought her vision before the Seer Council but it was dismissed as she was just a novice. Thirianna was then able to manipulate Korlandril, now part of the psyche of the Exarch Morlaniath, into bringing the vision to the Autarch Arhathain, who was able to finally get Alaitoc to take it seriously.[1f]
Thanks to her actions, Alaitoc was able to survive the Imperial invasion though she was briefly overcome by a Space Marine Librarian, who hacked into her mind to divine the Eldar troop movements.[1g]
