6th Company, Ultramarines Chapter
The Ultramarines 6th Company, known as the Brethren of the Forge, are the foremost reserve Company of the Chapter.[1]

Overview
Due to its status as a reserve company that reinforces other Ultramarines strike forces throughout the Galaxy, it is rare for the 6th to be deployed at more than half actual fighting strength at any given time. Despite this, the 6th is a potent force whose Battle-Brothers are extensively trained in the use of tanks and armoured warfare, and are often seen fighting alongside Sergeant Antaro Chronus' Spear of Macragge tank formation. In honour of the contribution that the Chapter’s fighting vehicles make to their battles, the 6th Company provides a rotated honour guard to watch over the Chapter Armoury within the Fortress of Hera. During this time they gain experience with their Chapter's machinery, with many brothers of the 6th becoming Techmarines in time.[1]
