Arkanyst Evaluator
Arkanyst Evaluators are members of the Leagues of Votann's science guilds, who are responsible for testing new weapon technologies.[1]
Description
Arkanyst Evaluators are daring agents of the Science Guild, specializing in esoteric and often highly hazardous sciences. They boldly test new and dangerous technologies,a vidly seeking data on their devices' effects in battle. To that end, they frequently accompany Prospects outside Kin space, coming into contact all types of varied worlds and enemies. Along the way, they seek new environments and materials to unleash the incredible potential of their devices. For the Kin, only through stringent field testing of new systems repeatedly can such devices ever mass production.[2]
The Arkanyst Science Guilds operate closely alongside the Cthonian Mining Guild and the Brôkhyr Engineering Guild, allowing them to interact closely with the raw materals gathered by the Cthonians and refining their properties with the help of the Brôkhyr.[2] But for most Kin, these scientists are seen as eccentric, reckless, and mad. Few other Kin are willing to be around the eccentric scientists for long.[1][2]
Amongst the devices employed by Arkanyst Evaluators are Transmatter Inverters, deadly weapons which defragment and realign molecular layers and produce a wide variety of results depending on its setting.[2]
Evaluation Monitors have a position within the Votannic Council of their respective Kindred.[2]
