Jessivayne Y'Kamidar
Princess Jessivayne Y'Kamidar is an Imperial Knight and heir-apparent to House Kamidar, which is rule by her mother the High Queen.[1a]
History
She commands the Questoris Knight Incendor which is equipped with a Conflagration Cannon, normally carried by the immense Dominus Pattern Knight. Incendor, however, is a one of a kind Questoris, as it was personally built for Jessivayne, by the Forge World Ferrovarum, in celebration of her successfully becoming a Knight. While her legs were atrophied, and Jessivayne is required to wear Servo-callipers to walk, only the slow-witted underestimated because of her disability for long. Most others are quickly dispelled of thinking she is weak, after they look into Jessivayne's eyes and see steel running through her soul.[1a]
When the Battle of Gathalamor initially began, Lord Commander Guilliman sent Imperial forces there, to defend the Shrine World until Indomitus Crusade Fleet Primus arrived. House Kamidar was among these early defenders[1b], as its High Queen honoured the oath her grandfather, and past High King, Laughlen Y'Kamidar had sworn that they would always protect Gathalamor. As heir-apparent, Jessivayne was given command of this force[1a], which consisted of five full lances of Knights to defend the Shrine World with.[1b]
She was killed by Warpsmith Torvann Lokk of the Iron Warriors during the last phase of the Battle of Gathalamor.[1c] The return of her body to Kamidar and Admiral Tiberion Ardemus using her corpse as a bargaining chip with her mother Orlah Y'Kamidar proved a major reason for the conflict between the Ironhold Protectorate and Imperium.[2]
