Kamidar is a Knight World and the capital of the Ironhold Protectorate.[1a]
History
During the Noctis Aeterna, Kamidar, along with the greater Ironhold Protectorate, lost contact with the Imperium Sanctus and was unsure if Terra even survived the chaos. In the aftermath, they became semi-autonomous, but the Indomitus Crusade eventually arrived to restore their oaths of fealty.[1a]
Several years into the Crusade, Battle Group Praxis of Indomitus Crusade Fleet Primus arrived at Kamidar to collect Tithes and resources for their ongoing campaign.[1a] The heavy-handedness of the Imperials, combined with Chaos machinations, eventually caused the two sides to come to blows but, following the death of High Queen Orlah Y'Kamidar at the hands of one of the Hands of Abaddon and the appearance of Red Corsairs, a tenuous ceasefire was eventually agreed upon.[1b] Vitrian Messinius was later dispatched by Roboute Guilliman to oversee the garrisoning of the Protectorate.[1c] After this the planet was made a redoubt of the Anaxian Line.[2]
