Kalugura, the Silent Cry^[2] is a C'tan, now imprisoned as a C'tan shard on the world of Kalugura.^[1] A horrific engine of destruction in the hands of the Necrons, it was entombed at the personal command of the Silent King during his uprising against the C'tan many eons ago.^[1][2]

Originally Kalugura was just the name of the planet an unnamed C'tan was imprisoned on.^[1] On 30 July, 2012‎, a Lexicanum article was created named Kalugura, instead of C'tan Shard of Kalugura (as it is called in the original source).^[1] In the article Kalugura was given as the name of the C'tan itself, rather than as the name of the planet, incorrectly citing a source for the claim. Almost eight years later, in 2020, Codex: Necrons (9th Edition) stated that the name of the C'tan in question was indeed Kalugura. The circumstances of how this came about are unknown.
