The Motive Force is a central religious spirit within the Cult Mechanicus.[1]

The Motive Force is the deity that gives all life and motion its continued existence, acting as the prime mover for the workings of all technology. It is part of the trinity including the Machine God and Omnissiah, completing one perfect technological god.[1][2]

Electro-Priests are a sub-cult within the Adeptus Mechanicus devoted to worship of the Motive Force.[3]
