Solomon Akurra is an Alpha Legion Chaos Lord[1] and Harrowmaster[4], who commands the Serpent's Teeth Warband.[2]
History
Solomon Akurra was able to wrest control of the Serpent's Teeth after the death of his predecessor Drazus Jate, and also has come to possess the Star Fort Unseen. While most Alpha Legion commanders confine themselves to shadow and stealth, Solomon Akurra is a bold strategic leader who proactively takes the fight to the Imperium. He is known to have entire Systems into swearing fealty to his forces through threats, trickery, and deceit.[4]
In M42, Solomon Akurra sought to reclaim the precious Alpha Legion artefact known as the Pale Spear, which was once wielded by Alpharius himself. The spear had moved to an Ordo Malleus vault in the Psyphos Sub-Sector by command of Inquisitor Kayzen Hart, in order to lure the traitor Astartes into an ambush.[2b] While Solomon was able to retrieve the blades of the Spear[2c] and use them to wrest back control of the conglomerated Alpha Legion Chaos Warbands of the Ultima Segmentum, the original haft remains in Inquisitor Hart's hands.[2d] Solomon now commands a coalition of Alpha Legion warbands dubbed the Ghost Legion. He now has the majority of the Psyphos Sub-Sector in Segmentum Pacificus.[4]
Solomon Akurra is known to recruit human operatives and legionaries from loyalist Schola Progenia, often without the knowledge of the recruits or the schola.[3] He is also accompanied by a human witch Tulava Dyne.[2a]
