Swift boat

The Swift boat is a shallow-drafted aquatic vessel operated by the Astra Militarum[1a] that is used for riverine operations.[1c]
Ten[1a] or fifteen metres long[1e] and propelled by an engine-block[1c] the lean-bladed boat[1b] has a shallow draft and is either equipped with a pintle-mounted bolter[1a] or with a heavy bolter with a rate of fire of eight hundred and fifty rounds per minute.[1e] The boat can carry a crew of six in cramped quarters[1a] and possesses vox equipment. It can also be up-armoured.[1d]. During night-time rest the boats are arrayed in an circular pattern in analogue to the horse-drawn wagons of Old Terra.[1a]
