The Hyena Light Support Vehicle, or just Hyena LSV, is a wheeled support vehicle used by Stormtroopers.^[1a]

Description

The Hyena is a fast, open-topped vehicle with a crew of three individuals, a driver, a commander and a gunner. Every crew-member is an experienced mechanic and can repair damage to the vehicle.^[1b]

The Hyena is armed with a cupola mounted storm bolter with 360 degree field fire, a fixed forward hull-mounted heavy bolter with a 90 degree arc of fire and a rear-swivel mounted multi-laser with a 360 degree arc of fire. The multi-laser can be replaced with a heavy plasma gun. Every weapons system has an integrated targeter. Additionally, the Hyena has Auto-launchers fitted with frag and blind grenades.^[1b]

Due to the Hyena's powerful four-whee- drive and V12 engine, it can pass through marshy or sand dune terrain without any slowdown. Even if a wheel is missing or lost, the Hyena can continue to function.^[1b]
