Warlock Titan
| This article is about the Eldar Titan; for the Eldar psyker, see Warlock. |
A Warlock Titan is a rare variant of the Phantom Titan[2] whose Infinity Circuits in their Wraithbone cores contain the spirits of a mighty Seers or Warlock. Combining potent Psychic ability, sophisticated weaponry, and smooth agility, Warlock Titans are considered the pinnacle of psychic engineering.[1][3b]
Overview
Warlock Titans are Phantom Titans whose Lord-Phoenixes were Seers and Warlocks before Soul-Grafting which, now dead spirits, are able to amplify their psychic strength in the resonant Wraithbone structure of their Titan for phenomenal psychic powers beyond that which they could manage while living, releasing mighty psychic shouts which rallies allies and sends even hardened foes fleeing.[3b][5]
Warlock Titans have insight into the future, which allows them to act in conjunction with the ebb and flow of fate,[1] twisting and ducking to avoid potential dangers and move in perfect synchronisation with destiny. The Warlock Titan can also twist the threads of fate to cause weapons fire to coalesce upon an unfortunate foe.[3b][5]
Weapons
The Warlock Titan can carry any of the weaponry of other Phantom Titans, such as twin missile launchers and either a Pulsar or Titan-class Power Fist,[1] but is unique among Asuryani units with its ability to wield the ancient Psychic Lances of the Eldar Knights – powerful weapons which bypass armoured defences to burn at the very minds of its enemies, rendering leaders unable to control their bodies and leaving vehicles manned by drooling idiots.[5]
The psychic energy which courses through and crackles about the Warlock Titan's body can ward off blows, which makes it particularly potent against the forces of Chaos as even a Greater Daemon will be destroyed when killed by the hands of the Warlock Titan.[3b]
Defences
A Warlock Titan is protected by reinforced armour and a holo-field emitted from projectors mounted on its wings.[1]
