The Caestus Metalican's vast crew of menials, Tech-Priests, Skitarii and Servitors are watched over by the gruff and uncompromising Xeretes, a veteran Skitarii officer. Xerxetes believes in crushing resistance and espouses violence in response to any infraction, an attitude which Faustinius often has to rein in. His aggression proved to be useful when prosecuting the merging tech-heresy on the Caestus Metalican, however.[1]
Subtribune-Xerxetes is a combat veteran of countless Skitarii campaigns and wears the figurative and literal scars of his service to the Omnissiah proudly. He often compares the situation to past battles. When a choice is presented to him, he promotes the most straightforward and violent solution.[1]
