Overview
Battleclade Servitors are pieced together from the most hard-wearing organic elements. They are then fitted with armaments and tools that their commanding Tech-Priest needs for the mission at hand. Some such operatives are built from specially vat-grown Humans, tailored to operate in hazardous conditions, while others may be adapted from servitors sequestered from those operating in the vicinity. When required for a mission, Battleclade Servitors are typically organised into Battleclades led by Servitor Underseers, who in turn answer to their leading Tech-Priest.[1a]
Types
- Breacher Servitor - Clear a path to their Battlecalde's goal and ensure their master's extraction route is unobstructed. They are equipped with las-cutters and other specialist tools in order to achieve this and can easily carve a path through natural obstacles, security bulkheads, and even energy shielding.[1c]
- Auto-Proxy Servitor - Function as specialist data relays. They carry an Achillian Eye, a powerful divinatory scanner which they use to identify enemy weak points and local instabilities. They also have Dataspikes to hack control nodes or pass updated commands to their fellow servitors.[1c]
- Technomedic Servitor - Use a mix of crude biosurgery and mechanical repairs to keep the team's Servitors functional long enough to fulfill their purpose.[1c]
- Gun Servitor - Walking weapons platforms that are equipped with a variety of weapons such as Heavy Bolters or Heavy Arc Rifles. They are also fitted with range-finders and servo-stabilizers in order to more accurately fire.[1c]
- Combat Servitor - Repurposed menial thralls or specially constructed for the mission at hand, Combat Servitors are implanted with martial imperative programming and weapons graft. They are ideal guardians, and can be equipped with Phosphor Blasters, Meltaguns, and Incendine Igniters alongside Servo Claws.[1c]
