Lacrymaerta
Lacrymaerta is a Magos subsect within the Adeptus Mechanicus.[1a]
These Tech-Priests are master flesh-shapers and thrall masters. They drive the lay-population of a Forge World both to labour and war. Though they often are looked down upon by more mechanically oriented orders, they are nonetheless essential to the operation of a Forge World due to their control of physical labor. As a result, they are amongst the most influential cabal of the Orders of the High Tech-Arcana.[1a]
Most Lacrymaerta keep close to their Forge World's own seat of power, usually the vast under-halls of a forge. However some may seek position in the fleets of Imperial armies. They may seek to strip the dead in the wake of battle for husks to repurpose, and to claim a toll on the losing side as thralls for their forge.[1b]
