House Mung
| This article is about the Necromundan Noble House; for the Eldar specialists, see Mung Dynasty. |
House Mung was a Noble House of Necromunda's Hive Primus and was among the first of them created by the ruling House Helm'ayr, in M35.[1a]
However, Mung later met its end in 777.M36, and the last of its patriarchs' brains were sealed in specially-crafted stasis vases and then hidden across Necromunda's hives by the house's faithful servants. They did so in the hopes that the House of Mung might one day rise again, but centuries later these Mung Vases have become sought-after items. In fact, the preserved brains of Mung's patriarchs are now a delicacy in many Necromundan hives.[1b]

Note
It is unclear if the family of Eleusis Mung, renowned Eldar Xenos experts including Barcelia, Ralamine and Obelius, are the same Mung Noble house, or completely unrelated.[2]
