Mechanicum Protector

Protectors are soldiers and guards of the Adeptus Mechanicus.

They are genetically engineered and augmented Humans that often wear red robes and bronze masks that showed green mechanical eyes or other colors and augments befitting the forge world they or their ward hails from. Members of the Protectors typically carry weapon staves or transonic halberds and serve as personal protectors of tech priests of high station, such as explorators, or as the personal guards within a techpriest's forge. Some are noted as smelling of spoilt, decayed meat and oils.

Known Protectors

• Rho-Mu 31 - A Protector in Magma City who served Adept Koriel Zeth.^[1]
• Alpha-Rho-25 - A Protector assigned to the Imperial defense of the Emperor's Webway Project and was one of the first Imperials to uncover Drach'nyen's presence there.
• Phocon Xal - Lifeward of Explorator Talin Sherax.
