The Cult of the Thirteenth Night is a powerful Wych Cult of Commorragh. They are the second most prominent Dark Eldar Wych Cult after the Cult of Strife.[1a]
Favouring overwhelming airborne attacks, it is said that the only reason the Thirteenth Night has not yet surpassed the Cult of Strife is due to the talents of Lelith Hesperax and Asdrubael Vect's patronage. However, after Lelith joined the Ynnari, Vect began to support the Thirteenth Night against her.[1a]
The rivalry between the Cults of Strife and Thirteenth came to a head with a duel between Lelith and Morghana with Vect in attendance. During the duel Lelith lost her weapon and Morghana offered her a chance to surrender. However Vect instead ordered Lelith's execution, causing an angry Morghana to unite against Vect. Vect eventually agreed to cease his shadow war against Lelith, and in the aftermath the Cults of Strife and Thirteenth Night formed an alliance.[1b]
