Cybertheurgy is a complex art that exists at the intersection of technological machine spirits and human souls. This multidisciplinary field attracts tech-priests from a variety of different fields of study.[3a]

Overview

Cybertheurgists often the wield of abilities referred to as Arcana, powers which seem as strange and potent as that of a Psyker. Magi of this discipline can unleash data-djinns to corrupt systems, overload power cells, and even turn the enemy's own weapons against them.[1e]

Cybertheurgists are often needed in the production of high-quality, artisanal Alpha-Plus Servitors. These are high-grade, semi-independent cybernetic organisms and far more complex than common mono-task servitors.[3b]

Chaos Cybertheurgy

Cybertheurges can also a type of Chaos Sorcerer, being mechanistic psykers and masters of forbidden technological lore.[4]

They can enslave binharic technological Daemons, which can then be unleashed into systems, such as portions of a voidship. Under the goading of the Cybertheurges, the Daemons will prey on recalcitrant systems and seed the spread of self-replicating cybernetic growths, that can engulf others. Cybertheurges can also use cyber-daemonic manifestations to assemble multi-dimensional maps of the interiors of voidcraft. By doing so, the Sorcerers can attempt to divine any threats the craft may contain and the maps are detailed enough to show flesh and machinery. More information can be gathered by Chaos forces moving within the voidcraft, as the Cybertheurges will monitor the boarders' soul-flares to further map the craft's interiors.[4]
