Augur Command and Control Squad

Augur Command and Control Squads were a type of Space Marine formation used by the Legiones Astartes during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.[1]

These cadres of Legionnaires were tasked to oversee unit coordination and distribution. Often accompanying officers such as Siege Breakers or Masters of Signal, they linked the fighting and support elements of the Legion and took up a position away from the front line. Parsing a mix of data from all manner of recon and intelligence, they provided constant guidance on a wider battle state. When threatened by a foe, they were nonetheless more than capable of fighting for themselves.[1]
