Phraetus Anointed
The Phraetus Anointed were Daemon possessed Saturnine Terminators in the Word Bearers Legion, during the Horus Heresy.[1d]

Description
Because of the powers given to them by their Daemons, the Phraetus Anointed were immensely strong and could physically overwhelm Cataphractii and Gorgon Terminators. They were also highly skilled with melee weapons and the Phraetus' bound Daemons, constantly emitted a miasma of corruption that protected them from ranged firepower.[1b] This baleful Warpfire Mantle, leached the energy from incoming fire and then used it to throw out gouts of warpfire.[1d] If launched together by several Phraetus', their concentrated shots of warpfire could reduce groups of Terminators to ashes within seconds. The Phraetus Anointed were also able to Teleport in precise formations, that were not capable of being achieved by using Teleportariums.[1b] These powers come at a cost, however, as the Word Bearer wearing the armour was slowly hollowed out by its bound Daemon.[1d]
History
The process of their creation began, as the Word Bearers and their Dark Mechanicum allies sought to corrupt the Saturnine Terminator Armour. It would be the followers of First Captain Kor Phaeron, who created the Phraetus Anointed, by modifying the Saturnine suits so they could contain a bound Daemon.[1d] They were then first deployed by Phaeron's Dark Heart Chapter, as its forces aided in defending the Word Bearers' allied Forge World, Milhand. Though it ultimately fell to the Iron Hands, the Dark Heart's Phraetus killed many of the Loyalists before escaping. However, several of the corrupted Saturnine Terminators died as well and it has been speculated that the Iron Hands created the Helwrought from their suits.[1b]
The Phraetus Anointed later spread throughout the Word Bearers Legion, when their creation process was discovered by agents of the Primarch Lorgar and the Chief Dark Apostle Erebus.[1d] They then went on to become the elite of the Word Bearers' forces, that defended the Colchisian Satrapy from the Iron Hands.[1b] The Phraetus' corrupt forms, though, would become even more monstrous as the Horus Heresy wore on.[1a]
Phraetus Anointed Conclave
Phraetus Anointed Conclaves were formations of two to five Phraetus Anointed, who were led by a Phraetus Disciple.[1d]
