The Helwrought were infamous Saturnine Terminators in the Iron Hands Legion, during the Horus Heresy.[1]

History

Officially the Helwrought are believed to be secret weapons, the Iron Hands had held within the Vaults of Mimir before the Horus Heresy began. However, it is speculated that their origin comes from the Word Bearers Possessed Phraetus Saturnine Terminator Armour, which the Iron Hands collected several suits of during their battle on the Forge World Milhand. These corrupted suits are known to have been taken to the Legion's archive-vaults of Syban, before disappearing from all records. It could then be mere coincidence, that the Helwrought emerged within the Iron Hands' ranks, less than a year after their battle on Milhand. Whatever the truth, no Imperial would ever openly state that the Legion had used the weapons of Chaos, against the Emperor's enemies.[1]

Description

The Helwrought became infamous for their nigh-undying resilience on the battlefield and for being equipped with archaeotech weaponry.[1]
