The Effrit Disruption Cadre were specialized Alpha Legion infantry during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.[1]


Overview

Belonging under the banner of several formations referred to as Effrit Stealth Squads, the Disruption Cadres are units designed to undertake perilous battlefield tasks ranging from close observation of enemy commanders to disruptive strikes on vulnerable war machines, and are frequently embedded behind enemy lines for months with little more equipment than can be carried by individual Legionaries.text-middle[Help]

The equipment in question wielded by the Disruptors and their Principals included Astartes Shotguns with specialized Banestrike ammunition designed specifically to penetrate Power Armour, Nemesis Bolters for longer ranged sniping, and the Hydra's Wail Disruption Array for rendering enemy comms devices useless.[1a]
